
After we moved into our new house, I couldn’t wait to decorate and get started with making our home the way we wanted it. One of the things I knew I wanted was a place where I could be alone with my thoughts and manifest for the future. So I learned a thing or two about sacred space.
A sacred space is any spot, that you make your own and gives you the feelings of serenity. A place you can be alone with your thoughts and relax, meditate, do yoga, or really anything you want. A space for reflection, maybe a spot for prayer, or healing.
So how do we create this sacred space? There are lots of ways and mostly it’s just important that you’re fixing your space in a way that’s going to benefit you and help you to relax.
Here are three ways to create your very own sacred space in your home.
1. Pick the perfect spot
A corner of quiet room in your home, perhaps by a window so you can see the stars or feel the nice summer breeze. A sacred space could be a table, the top of a dresser, a spot on the floor, etc.
2. Add healing things that reflect YOU.
Whether it’s crystals, tarot cards, a moon calendar, feathers, sage, essential oils, or candles. Your sacred space is for anything that holds special meaning to you. You can customize your space for whatever your intentions are that day.
3. Treat yourself to a salt lamp.
